In the Indiadari range of Western Ghats, there are about 67 miles (today) Ajanta caves in the north of Aurangabad. There are 30 well caves and many fragile blankets for Buddhist architecture on their last Wednesday, it is in view of the 76 meter high, horse-shaped deserted Waghora (Bayiger) river. The last cave of the river is called Sat Kund (Seven Exodus).It is a powerful reminder of the natural forces that untold happenings have molded the basal layers of the decken plate. A part of Gautla Wildlife Sanctuary, this ancient landscape provides an appropriate background of the magnificent collection of paintings from India’s ancientity.

Ajanta’s art is in the school. It is important to remember that attaining art was not the sole purpose of performing art and the search for beauty did not end in itself.
