Sri Harmandir Sahib, also known as Sri Darbar Sahib or Golden Temple, is named after the God (God) of God’s Temple (due to its beautiful beauty and gold quota for the English-speaking world). Sikhs around the world wish to pray daily to Sri Amritsar and pray for Sri Harimandir Sahib prayers.

 

Guru Arjan Dev, the Fifth Nanak, adopted the idea of ​​creating a central place of worship for the Sikhs and he himself prepared for the construction of Sri Harmandir Sahib. The plan to excavate the holy tank (Amritsar or the Amrit sarovar) first was prepared by the third Nanak, Guru Amar Das, but it was executed by Guru Ramdas Sahib under the supervision of Baba Budha Ji. For this site land was paid by the earlier Guru Sahiban landlords (Zamindars) from the native villages and free of cost. The plan to establish the city was also planned. Therefore, the construction work on the sarovar and the city started simultaneously in 1570. 1577 A.D.

For this place the land was purchased by the Guru Ramdas Sahib for the payment of land area (land tenants).

The unique picture of Sri Harmandir Sahib, Golden Temple Amritsar and Guru Arjan Sahib established Lahore by the Muslim saint, Hazrat Mian Mir, of his native Magh, 1645 Bikrami Samvat (December 1588). This bridge is connected to 13 feet wide ‘Pradhakshanya’ (prosombulatory path). It manages the main gurdwara and it leads to ‘Har Ki Paura’ (the steps of God). On the first floor of “Har Ki ladhi”, the Guru Granth Sahib is continuously reading.The main structure of Sri Harmandir Sahib is functioning and technically three-storey. Front facing this front, the front is decorated with ornamental edges and the first floor ceiling is 26 feet and 9 inches high.

 

Its structure reflects the unique harmony of the construction of Muslims and Hindus and it is considered the world’s best architectural model. It is often cited that this architecture has created an independent Sikh School of Architecture in India’s art history.
