India Gate is located in the heart of India’s capital New Delhi. It was created in 1921 by Edwin Lautines. This historic memorial in Delhi reminds the members of the British Indian Army who sacrificed their life while fighting for the Afghan wars and the Indian Empire in World War I.

India got independence, Bharat Gate Amar Jawan Jyoti – became the seat of the tomb of the unidentified soldier of the Indian army. It is considered one of India’s largest war memorials.




Amar Jawan Jyoti’s place burns in 1971. This immortal symbol of the warrior represents the tomb of an unknown soldier. This holy shrine has been made a black marble and has a rifle on its barrel. This rifle is operated by a soldier’s helm. The word “Amar Jawan” (Amar Yodha) has been marked on every face of the Siropa, which is placed on a building. The four corners of the building have four fish, these spices are kept alive.

This gurdwara of India Gate in Delhi was met by the Indian Prime Minister during that time on January 26, 1972- Indira Gandhi since then this tradition is formally mandatory for the President and the Prime Minister to pay homage on the site during state ceremonies. Whenever visitors visit the state, they come here to worship at India Gate of Delhi and on the site.
