Today we are telling you about an island of Brazil where only the poisonous snoop reigns. This is Island, 93 miles away from Brazil’s Sao Paulo, on the sea in the name of Ilha de Queimada Grande, which is known as Snake Island.
The area of this island is approximately 4,30,000 square meters. That is, about 20,00,000 (two million) poisonous snakes are on this island.
Here snakes appear everywhere, walking on the ground, hanging from the trees, hidden in rocks.
It is forbidden for ordinary people to go on it. Only serpent experts have the mandate to go for research, but they also return only by researching in the coastal area, and no one dares to go inside the island more.
Here the number of these snoops is so high that there are four to five snakes in every square meter i.e. the number of eight snakes in each of your single beds.
One of the most poisonous snakes in the world is found in a golden pitwiper snake.
The bite of this snake dies within 10 to 15 minutes. Golden Pit viper Snake is responsible for 90 percent of deaths due to snake bites in Brazil.
Here is a light house near the coast, in which an employee of the Brazilian Navy used to pay duty. He lived with a caretaker in his cottage made in a light house with his wife and three children. A ship from the Brazilian Navy used to transport them to their needs. One day his whole family became a victim of snakes. And all died.
After this incident, the light house was closed for ever and the ban on this island was prohibited.
This island is the resting point of migratory birds coming from this route, hence this bird becomes the diet of these snakes and the number of these snakes is responsible for this increase.
