What are some usual weapons which animals use to defend themselves?

  • 0

There are many amazing weapons with which animal defend themselves. Giant petrels and cape pigeons spit up a foul smelling sticky liquid, made of partly digested food, at intruders. Skunks squirt a truly horrible smelling liquid from a gland at the base of their tails. This can cause temporary blindness and choke in anyone who gets too close. But most amazing of all is the reaction of the basilisk lizard to danger. It will drop into the water, and scuttle over the surface using a fringe of scales along with its toes. to anyone watching, it looks as though the lizard is actually walking on water
