Why is the Persian Physicians Al-Razi remembered in the world of medicine?

Al-Razi was one of the most important physicians of medieval times. he compiled a comprehensive book on medicine known as ‘the Hawai’ which included all medical knowledge of the time, including work handed down from the ancient Greeks. he was aware of psychological aspects of health, and of the relationship between nutrition and health. He was known to Europe by the Latinized form of his name, Rhazes.
